Lower Shabelle University (LSU) is a private higher education institution located in Merca, the capital of the Lower Shabelle region in southern Somalia. Established in 2010, LSU was founded to provide accessible and affordable higher education opportunities for Somali students, particularly those who have completed secondary school. The university aims to be a beacon of creativity and knowledge in the region, offering a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines.
